Our Story

We believe every companion deserves a dignified goodbye — and every family deserves compassion, not a sales pitch.

Why We're Here

Newcastle Pet Cremation Services was founded in 2015 with a simple belief: losing a companion is hard enough. The process of saying goodbye shouldn't make it harder.

We'd seen too many families rushed into decisions at the vet's front desk, handed a leaflet, and left feeling uncertain about what actually happened to their companion. That's not good enough. Your companion gave you years of loyalty, joy, and unconditional love. They deserve better than a transactional process.

We set out to build something different — a pet cremation service that treats every companion with the dignity they deserve, and every family with the gentleness they need.

What We Believe

🤝

No Pressure. Ever.

We'll never rush you into a decision, upsell you, or push products you don't want. We present the options clearly and let you choose what feels right.

🔒

Total Traceability

Every pet carries a unique ID disc from collection to ash return. When you choose individual cremation, you can be absolutely certain you're receiving your companion — and yours alone.

💛

Compassion Over Commerce

We invoice after the cremation — never before. We don't charge cancellation fees. If you need to talk at 8pm on a Sunday, we'll answer. This isn't a transaction; it's a service to people at their most vulnerable.

The Team

We're a small, family-run team based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Everyone who works here has lost a companion themselves — we know what it feels like. We're not a franchise, not a chain, not a call centre. When you call us, you speak to someone who genuinely cares and who has the authority to help you, not follow a script.

Serving the North East

We cover Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Sunderland, Northumberland, County Durham, and the surrounding areas. Collection is typically quick, often same-day — arranged with you, same-day across the region.

We work with veterinary practices across the North East — many vets recommend us directly because they know their clients will be treated with care.

We'd Be Honoured to Help

If you've lost a companion — or you're preparing for the inevitable — call us. We'll listen first, advise gently, and handle everything from there.
